‘AIR’
Based on the renovation of the narrowest building in Providence, Rhode Island. I took three artists as my study clients and design spaces for them. The artists are of different backgrounds (performance, fabrication analysis and visual art) which lead to multi-disciplinary spatial needs.
Co-housing & commons in Multidisciplinary Artist Residency - Adaptive reuse project
The site is the narrowest building in downtown Providence, standing at only 12.5ft (0.3m) deep. It is described on Art in Ruins as - a three story, brick sheathed structure with mid-20th-century storefronts.
